SHALINI VALECHA
DIRECTOR OF INDUSTRY AFFAIRS (ACTING), AFGC
Shalini has extensive experience within the Australian FMCG arena, having worked within the industry for 25 years and at the AFGC for the past 6 years. At the AFGC, Shalini has led work on trade and export, economic analysis and digital labelling, before taking on her current role as Director of Industry Affairs (Acting).

Samuel Garcia
Manager — Industry Affairs, Supply Chain, AFGC
Samuel is an economist specialising in supply chain and industry policy. At the Australian Food and Grocery Council, he draws on experience across the public and private sectors to address key challenges including supply chain efficiency, infrastructure, workforce, and resilience — supporting the FMCG sector through data-driven policy and recommendations.
